Committees
By Laws
The By Laws Committee has the responsibility to review and maintain the Bylaws and Policy documents. This committee identifies legal and policy issues, drafts supporting language and submits to the Board of Directors and general membership for approval.
Chapter Advisory Committee
CIPTUG Chapter Advisory Committee (CAC) serves as a two-way communication forum between local chapter representatives and CIPTUG. CAC facilitates chapter-to/from "headquarters" dialogue and feedback and chapter-to-chapter sharing of experiences and best practices. CAC members serve as mentors/resources to chapter startup primes.
Technology Forums, Programs & Events
The Technology Forums, Programs & Events Committee has responsibility for planning and executing internal and external events sponsored by CIPTUG. The events include the User's Annual Conference, bakeoff, seminars, educational events, webinars, etc.
End-User Membership
The End-user Membership Committee has responsibility for establishing end-user membership criteria, recommending changes or additions to member services, initiating membership drives, and to actively assist in the establishment and ongoing support of local chapters.

Finance
This committee has the responsibility for monitoring and reporting on monthly financials, creating the annual budget based on requirements from other committees, developing financial policies and processes in accordance with CIPTUG By Laws, and managing financial goals.
Marketing Communications
The Marketing Communications is responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase awareness of CIPTUG, for determining marketing channels and tools to communicate the benefits of membership, and to publicize news and events.
Technology
The Technology Committee has responsibility for managing the web site, online database software, and communications methods including email lists, direct mailings, and user forums.
